So you have just experienced a NoFap / porn binge relapse after a long streak?

And now you're wondering a bit about what that means for you?

Well, let's talk about it.

Make sure to stay with me to the end here...

NoFap / Porn Binge Relapse After Long Streak

Scandinavian Bob here, hi!

Let’s talk a bit about a phenomenon that happens to most guys at some point during their NoFap journey. And that is porn binge relapses after they have managed to build up a pretty good streak.

Ok, so let’s say you have managed to go 64 days and then one Wednesday afternoon you come home after work, you’re tired and you spend several hours on your laptop, aimlessly browsing on different kind of social media platforms.

And of course you get slapped in the face with a powerful trigger and there it is...the horrible relapse.

Why did you have to aimlessly browse on social media?

You need to avoid stupid shit like that!

Anyway, that’s not what this video is about, it’s about what you do after your relapse.

Many guys tend to break if they have a porn relapse after a long streak...

So, let’s say your relapse included porn and it lasted about 40 minutes or so.

Well, most of you know that after 64 days you do not wipe out all the healing you’ve done just from one single relapse, but still so many guys go on full binge mode when this happens.

And so they relapse again the following day.

And then perhaps they go super crazy with a 4 hour relapse 4 days after that, and keep binging for several days.

If you keep bingeing to porn after a long streak you quickly put yourself back to zero...

Well, congratulations because now you’re pretty much back to zero.

So, why is it so easy to start binging after the first 30 minute relapse?

Well, there are several reasons for this and we are going to talk about all of them in a coming video, but for now, let’s just focus on the biggest one, your mindset.

Your mindset is vitally important. Be careful with 'the loser mindset'...

When you relapse after a long NoFap streak, it’s easy to fall into a so-called victim mindset. No wait, I actually like to call it “a loser mindset”.

This happens because you start feeling sorry for yourself, in combination with losing the motivation you had when you were riding high on your streak.  All while getting distorted thoughts like, "Oh, man, I blew it. I might as well give go all crazy and binge"

And so you start binging in a desperate attempt to at least find some pleasure in order to comfort yourself.

If an addict fails he tend to escape into the very thing he's addicted to...

Yeah, the ironic part is that, when an addict wants to escape into some comforting behavior, he often resorts to the very thing he is addicted to and trying to stop using.

Well, guys, this needs to stop.

If you happen to have a porn relapse, you must stop yourself right after that first slip and and prevent yourself from going down that binging hell hole.

Because you all know that there is a night and day difference between a 30 minute relapse and 10 days of binging.

Look at it like savings in the bank...

Check this out...

Let’s say you have been saving money to buy yourself a new apartment. You’re looking for something in the 80.000 dollar range and right now you have 56.000 dollars in your bank account.

Then one night you get a little drunk and you decide to go out.

Out on the town you meet a couple of your friends and you start spending money like crazy. You run into even more friends. You go to bars, you get more drunk, you start buying them drinks and food and you even play some poker and lose quite a lot of money there.

Oh, noo!

Yeah so then when you wake up the next morning, of course you feel like crap and almost in panic you start checking how much money you wasted.

If you waste a bit of money, would you then go "ah well, might as well spend it all"?

You find out that you blew almost 3000 dollars in one single night.

Oh maaan, now obviously that will make you feel even worse. Now your bank account is down to 53.000 dollars and it’s going to take even longer until you can buy your apartment.

Well, would you then go, "Ah well, I blew it. I might as well go out tonight and do the same thing again"

No way in hell you would.

And then imagine going out doing the same, night after night, for two weeks straight until your bank account is down to zero.

That would be crazy right?

Well, that’s exactly the mindset you're having when you start binging after a NoFap / porn relapse.

The brain healing on a porn reboot is cumulative...

While this was just an example, it’s still kind of similar because when you stop using adult sites, the healing of your dopamine system is cumulative.

Meaning it slowly builds up over time, just like the money in your bank account.

So, the next time you relapse after a long streak, think about that money example and ask yourself, just how stupid would it be to keep spending all the rest of the money?

Alright, I hope the video gave you some food for thought and if you have been trying to quit for a long time now, yet you keep failing again and again, then check out a video where I talk about a good course for quitting porn.

It’s an online course producing absolutely fantastic results that you can do at your own pace when you feel like it.
