Wondering how to get to 90 days on NoFap? 

Well, let me tell you, if you frequently are able to log in 10 day streaks here and there, you can also get to 90 days.

And I’m going to tell you why in a moment, but before I do, let's start by taking a look at a poll I made a couple of days ago where I asked you guys, how many of you have ever made it to 90 days on NoFap.

And this is how you answered…

As you can see more than 1400 people voted and…

 

67% of people doing NoFap have never made it to day 90...

24  % answered that they have made it, but then relapsed at some point after that. And 9 % answered that they have made it and are still going strong 90+

And as many as 67 % say that they have never made it to day 90 of nofap despite trying. 

Now, here’s the thing guys...

The first two weeks of NoFap and quitting adult sites are the absolute hardest.

The first two weeks after quitting porn is the hardest part of your journey...

So if you have proven to yourself that you frequently are capable of logging in streaks like 10 days, maybe 12 days, and then 9 days and so on, you should know that you already pretty much possess all the skills necessary and that for you it’s just a matter of not losing focus. 

All you have to do is to build up 9 blocks of 10 days and you are there, and again, remember, the first two weeks are actually the hardest part. 

It's a matter of not losing focus...

And when I’m saying not to lose focus, I mean that you need to have a strong routine in place where you frequently keep reminding yourself of your very reason for wanting to achieve 90 days in the first place. 

Why? 

Because here’s the thing  whenever you are presented by a strong craving, all of us tend to forget the logical reasoning part of any goals we set.

Hypofrontality in porn addiction makes you forget your reason for wanting to quit...

This is especially true if you have developed addiction related brain changes, because one of those brain changes works in a way that makes less blood flow reach your prefrontal cortex in the moment of cravings.

This is called "hypofrontality".

So, if your brain was a computer, when it comes to your reason for wanting to quit in the first place, at that moment the computer program would say “file not found”.

It’s like it’s gone. 

File not found...Create strong reminders!

So you need to keep the same focus every single day for, I’d say the first 30 days, as you have your very first week, by constantly reminding yourself of how important this is. 

If you live alone, Put up post-it notes all around your apartment. Create reminders on your phone and your computer. Create a personal urge surfing phrase that you keep telling yourself several times a day. And in the heat of the moment.

Now, I know some of you are going to say, “But having to focus on NoFap that much is not healthy.  We shouldn’t even be thinking of NoFap”

But isn't focusing too much on NoFap a bad thing?

Well, first of all, I’m telling you to focus on your reason for wanting to do it. Not on the act of resisting itself.

Second, it’s not going to be for the rest of your life, just for the first 30-40 days or so, because it gets so much easier after that. But yes, it is really that important to keep focusing in the beginning of your reboot. 

And third, I could counteract and ask, "So, how is ‘not focusing’ working for you then? Have you reached your 90 day goal yet?"  

If not, then why not give it a try?

Don’t be negative here guys, but use the positive message in the title of today’s video as an encouragement instead of trying to find reasons for why you can never make it.

When I made my title, if you can get to 10 days you can also make it to day 90 does that mean I’m saying those guys can never make it?

Of course not!
