How To Become Mentally Strong When Talking To Girls (Anyone You Fear)

general self-improvement

Scandinavian Bob here hi,

Let’s talk about how to become more mentally tough.

Now, in today's world a lot of people cringe at the phrase mentally tough, like it’s somehow a dirty phrase linked to arrogant people, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Mental toughness simply means being able to go through challenges without completely breaking down.

It means being able to push past your comfort zone instead of whining away in a corner or being able to stand solidly as a pillar of support for your loved ones when there is a crisis.

And guess what?

There will be, because life is not easy, so becoming more mentally tough is a good goal to have since mental toughness also means training and preparing oneself to be mentally ready for whatever challenge comes our way.

How to become mentally strong when talking to girls or doing something else that scares you...

Yeah so mental toughness is indeed something to strive for so make sure to stay with me to the end of this video.

Ok, so the secret to becoming mentally tough is being able to put the right pain or the right  fear behind you.

There is no safe way forward in life...

When we set out to do something we often feel fear.

Even to the point of us backing off.

But what you have to realize is that everything you do involves risk.

Whatever way you choose to take, sooner or later you will run into a risk and this basically means that EVERYTHING is dangerous - and the trick is to put the right fear behind you.

Put the right fear behind you in order to become mentally strong when talking to people...

Let’s say you are a bit socially anxious and most often you avoid meeting people. Because your fear is potential public humiliation and rejection and that would be painful.

Well, now you are picturing this fear in front of you and naturally this fear will push against you and you make it so big that most often you just back off and choose to stay home in your apartment.

Now, am I saying that there is no risk for potential humiliation if you spend time around people?

No, I’m not saying that at all, because sure there is a risk of you getting rejected or feeling some social pain of some sort, and if you have social anxiety it could indeed be pretty painful for you.

What's the risk of NOT doing it?

But what many people fail to realize is that there is also a risk when you choose to stay home.

A danger of you never getting a family of your own and as time goes by you are getting fewer and fewer friends. Because people will eventually stop asking you out since you always turn their offer down and so you get more and more lonely as the years go by.

Then, naturally your anxiety and depression will get even worse because of this and you’ll spend the last 20-30 years of your life completely isolated, extremely miserable with no one who care about you.

Wow, no of course this would also be painful for you. Extremely painful.

So you see, no matter what we are talking about in life there will be pain no matter what.

You’re doomed no matter what.

And I’m not saying this to sound negative because it’s actually a good thing.

Here's the deal...

You can then take advantage of by putting one of the fears behind you.

So, in this case you take the picture of you being completely alone and miserable for the last 30 years of your life, crippled by depression and anxiety and you put that picture behind you.

This is great because now you are taking advantage of your fear because fear is always pushing you.

And since you now have this fear behind you it will literally help push you forward and when you keep the worst fear in your mind like that, the fear you have in front of you will become weaker.

Becoming mentally strong is still tough (of course it is)

Now, I’m not going to lie, it will still be there, but it will pale and become weaker because you now have the advantage of having the right fear behind you.

It is almost like you and that fear behind you are now working as a team and together you will defeat the fear you have in front of you.

This mental game actually works really well and you can use it with almost everything in life.

Fear of quitting your job?

Say you hate your job, but you are scared of quitting because the future is uncertain and there are some risks involved.

Well, you should be afraid and you should really think it through and not just quit without a plan.

However, you should be more afraid of staying where you are if it’s making you miserable.

If you hate your job so much today, where do you think you’ll be 5 years from now if you don’t do anything about it?

Well, that’s right you will be a lot more miserable.

The company has been destroying your soul and you will also be a lot older with less energy to do something about it.

Be more afraid of NOT quitting...

So, you see, not coming up with a plan to quit your job and pursue something more meaningful could actually be a much bigger risk for you.

Now, there’s the fear you want to put behind you, so put that fear behind you and form an alliance with it.

And then with the power of you two together, start working on a clever plan on how to move forward. Because with determination, resourcefulness and a strong enough why you will always find the “how”.

Becoming mentally strong when afraid to talk to girls...

You can use this technique.

Are you scared of starting your own business?

Use this technique.

Are you afraid of ending the toxic relationship you happen to be in right now?

Well, where are you 3 years from now if you stay and everything gets worse?

Again, always put the right fear behind you and then figure out a way to move forward.

Now, this takes a bit of practice, but most of you will actually find it to work from the very first moment you try it.

It can be an amazingly powerful technique, and the more you practice it, the better it will work.

Chunk your goals...

What I personally do is that I combine this technique with chunking my goals into the smallest possible steps and of course I then put my goals in front of me and I put the RIGHT fear behind me…

And then I just start attacking those small steps, one by one until my goal is achieved.

So, start doing this and see where it takes you and besides that guys, if you want to help me be able to make these kinds of videos, you can always support my channel by buying me a coffee.
